This year’s BISMUN edition has started and it looks like the DISEC Committee is going to have a promising debate. Nowadays international conflicts are in a constant change and keeping the world safe has become more challenging and it’s the DISEC delegates’ job to find solutions and keep us safe!
The Chairs have briefed the delegates about the rules and the mocking session is in order. The first topic to be debated is “Who should pay on the first date? “. “Who should pay on the first date is an important matter that must be dealt with?”, “Why go to a restaurant, when you can go on a date in nature?” or “We think that both men and women must pay because we believe in equality” are some arguments stated by delegates.
The international community is in need of favorable resolutions regarding this year’s DISEC topics. The first one is about “Combating Illicit Arms Trade in the Mediterranean Sea”, while the second one is about “Illicit Drugs and the Terrorist Threat, the Linkage between Drug Trafficking and Terrorist Groups”. Both topics produce tensions between states and are quite difficult to be dealt with, but hopefully our delegates will find solutions to these international disputes.
