First day of BISMUN introduced delegates all over the world to the profesional, but open atmosphere as they revealed us some of their expectations about this year’s conference.
Those who are here for the first time were enthusiastic to meet new people and t get in contact with the academic enviroment. Another aspects that attracted them was the opportunity of debating at a high academic level. On the other hand, those who are not here for the first time declared that they love BISMUN, because “comparing to other MUNs, it is the best”.
When asked what comes to their mind when they think about the United Nations, they associated it with important values and principles, such as unity, the feeling of belonging, peace and communication. Delegates see the UN as “the bridge between countries and continents”, the Organisation that helps keeping the peace in the world.
All of those interviewed are keen on socialising, they want to meet new people, to have a great experience here, to have fun, to build new friendships, to learn to communicate in a profesional and academic way and to discuss some important issues that disrupt the general peace and order in the world.
