The second day of BISMUN in the CRISIS committee started with an emotional statement from Japan:
“Fellow leaders, I want to remind you that we are here for the people. We represent them so we have to protect their rights”.
Right before the work started on the resolution paper, things got pretty harsh. After Russia got attacked by many countries like Japan or France because of their “Mafia”, the delegate got defensive and pointed out the huge amount of heroin that comes out from Afghanistan. Although he is considered reckless by the Russian Federation, the delegate of Japan declared that his country is willing to help anytime in case of war.
Another good thing is that Uruguay had engaged in discussions with China and the United States of America. So is possible that these countries may come up with a solution to the main problems through a back channel from Uruguay.
After plenty of contradictions , the delegate of Afghanistan came in the CRISIS council, accompanied by the Secretary General, to answer all of our delegates questions. They got really nervous at first, but after a few minutes of long answers, the atmosphere changed and things were clarified.
